Real Madrid have finally done it.
After six games in the ongoing 2019/20 La Liga campaign, Los Blancos are once again top of the league table. After a scrappy win against Sevilla on matchday five, Zinedine Zidane continued his winning streak at the Santiago Bernabeu against Osasuna.

Their guests were definitely not an easy team to beat. After all, they have drawn with Barcelona this season in Pamplona and have an ace or two up their sleeve.
But the Galacticos were stern and dominant in their approach and they never allowed their opposition room to create much of a threat towards Alphonse Areola. As a result, their second clean sheet of the season is now on the books.
And one major contributor to that achievement was none other than the 21-year-old talent, Eder Militao.
The Brazilian defender was introduced from the get-go instead of Raphael Varane, and Zidane definitely did not regret that decision.
Militao was able to keep the opposition forwards at bay at all times and he has the numbers to back it up.
He tallied two tackles, four clearances, three aerials won and he was not dribbled past in the whole game – not even once. His performance in front of the home crowd was the definition of rock-solid as the young centre-back truly gave Zidane something to think about in the upcoming fixtures.
Of course, he wasn’t all alone manning that defence. The composure and experience of Sergio Ramos next to him definitely gave him the necessary confidence to play at such a high level in the first place.
After all, this was only his second game in the new La Liga campaign and only his first start in the competition. Prior to the clash against Osasuna, he had only tallied half an hour under his name in the victory over Levante on matchday four.
But if anything, this game with Osasuna was a big statement from the 21-year-old newcomer to his coach, who just might be more inclined now to give him another go in the starting XI.
If this game is any indication, Militao definitely has what it takes to succeed at Real Madrid.
