According to , Lee’s future was under speculation with Arsenal, Manchester United, Napoli and Fenerbahce all showing interest. The South Korean international made 45 appearances for PSG last season, including 26 starts, but was reportedly seeking more game time. Despite this, Enrique has blocked any move, insisting Lee remains part of his plans for the upcoming campaign.
