Since swapping Wolves for Chelsea this summer, the Portugal international has scored two goals and bagged one assist for Enzo Maresca's team. One of those goals came in a 4-2 win over Gent in the Conference League on Thursday, but the 24-year-old says there is more to come from him.

He told in Portugal: “I’m not at my best shape yet. I want to get there and I’m working hard to do so. I’ve had very little pre-season and I’ve always said that I’m going to work hard to reach my best moment and become a better player."
On his time with the club, Neto added: “It’s been great, I’m learning a lot, I’m improving, I feel better and better, closer and closer to my level. It’s always unbelievable to score in front of these fans, who are so supportive. It was a great victory [vs Gent]."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Neto signed for the west London outfit for £54 million ($69m) but so far he has not quite hit the ground running. The Portuguese has started two of Chelsea's six Premier League matches so far and is behind Noni Madueke, Cole Palmer, and potentially Jadon Sancho in the attacking pecking order. But it is still early days and after his performance against Gent, Neto will be growing in confidence.
