reports that United's players demanded a swift flight home after Friday's 3-1 win over Hong Kong, having been angered by being asked to travel on the post-season tour to Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong. They were sitting on a plane just two-and-a-half hours after completing victory.

The squad were allowed to enjoy themselves on the flight out, which took off four hours after Sunday's 2-0 Premier League win over Aston Villa. The drinks flowed on the trip to Asia and a club-wide night out was organised on Monday when they landed.

There was tension during the trip, with Amad Diallo taking to social media to apologise after flipping his middle finger at fans. The winger said his mother had been insulted by an "unhealthy individual". Amad was also warned after raising the finger in the direction of Alejandro Garnacho in a selfie with fans, while Garnacho did the same to the camera.
