Jose Mourinho’s squad is not in a particularly healthy shape ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s clash with RB Leipzig this evening.
Just recently, the club officially confirmed updates of where Harry Kane, Juan Foyth, Heung-Min Son and Erik Lamela are up to in terms of their fitness.
No clues whatsoever: Which seasons do these iconic Spurs images belong to?
Of course, it’s not like fans were unaware of their fitness issues, but after seeing them all at once, it just helped them realise how thin their squad truly is.
To many, this was really depressing news to see and some were even left speechless at this point.
One fan even stated that this means their hopes of finishing the season in the top four are gone – a big claim considering they are currently only one point behind Chelsea in fourth place.
But this update seemed to hit them rather hard…
In fact, many of them were saying that they are done and that the club should just be liquidated.
For them, the 2019/20 campaign is already done and dusted and that includes the upcoming Champions League tie with RB Leipzig, who were said to have a huge advantage now.
One fan even pointed out that losing these particular players would be the equivalent of Liverpool losing Salah, Firmino, Henderson and Wijnaldum, that’s how dire the situation truly is…
In other news, many Spurs fans were absolutely buzzing with Steven Bergwijn’s latest comments about the club…
